| Comments: DOB 11/13/2002. Picture taken June 2009. In 2005, my friend Robert Weir of Caldwell, Texas acquired Summit from the famous Butler herd of Dr. Frank Anderson. Regrettably, Robert passed away in March 2009 and I was given the opportunity to be the first to select from his herd of over 400 Longhorns. Since I began raising longhorns in 1983, I have concentrated on using only the best of Real Butler genetics. By Real, I mean selecting pedigrees that trace exclusively back to those originally bred by Milby Butler. I also select herd sires who's dam's are outstanding in all respects such as MF TNT, Bart's Sweetheart, MF Droopy's Caboose and now W5 Flower Garden. I am really excited about having Summit to complement my breeding program so get ready for the HORN EXPLOSION!!! Guaranteed to be 100% Full Butler breeding. |
